What happens when I have submitted my application?

Once you have submitted all the required information and documentation, we will consider your application.  The material you have submitted will be assessed for compliance with the Code and Rules.

Each new adviser will be invited to sit a level 1 competence assessment as part of an overall assessment of his or her competence.  You may also be asked to sit an assessment at levels 2 and 3 (please note this only applies to applicants wishing to work at Level 2 or 3).  See page 10 for information on assessments.

If you then fail to provide all the required information and documentation with your application, it will be refused. The fee will not be refunded in these circumstances.
